"Talking with people in Johnson, Wyandotte, and Miami counties, I hear the same thing over and over: Congress isn’t listening, and no one is willing to take the tough challenges head-on.
For the past eight years, I’ve used my experience in business and law to expand access to healthcare for underserved children in Wyandotte County. As the President and Chair of the Turner House Children’s Clinic, I worked with leaders in the community to expand services and double the capacity. And when Governor Brownback made drastic cuts to our funding, we didn’t give up, but found a way to save the clinic and grow.
In Congress, I will fight just as hard for everyone in the 3rd District. I will listen and be a strong voice so we can tackle the tough challenges of creating good jobs, making healthcare more affordable, and ensuring we have fully-funded, great schools for every kid.
And I won’t be afraid to stand up to President Trump when he acts against the values and interests of Kansas families.
I look forward to hearing from you over the next months and earning your support.”
